This canvas was made at A Work of Heart in San Jose. She has a great class schedule & I had a great time. I think water based oil pastels are crayons of the gods!!

These Hands
These are my hands.
Is left wrong or just not right? 3-7-10 These are the hands that have made this book. These are the fingers that will hold the pencil that will paint, draw, express & fill these pages with whimsical, wonderful, weird, wild and other profound pictures, prose, poetry, publications. Please tread, tromp + treat delicately this delightfully decidant, delicious, debacle of my most magnificant & magical mind dump. Thank you.
Turning art off.
Vintage Spoon Jewelry
Andrea has a great studio. It is called “A Work of Heart” in San Jose, Ca.,
This is the second classes I have taken from A Work of Heart.
I really enjoy the projects, the instructors and the other women who go there.
I described it as Disneyland for crafty women.
Here are the photos
Cupcake
Ok, I would love to say this was an original idea & it was mine.. But, It wasn’t. It was from a paper scarpper mag. I don’t remember which one.. AH HA research project! But I like it. I made several but this is the only one I have a photo of It was a gift for my CM consultant Ellen Berk.
Last time I was there it was still on her dining room table..
They were easy & fun to make.
Garland
I found this picture from garland I made last fall for my Mom’s birthday. I really liked this project & the coolest part is the flowers don’t die..
Journal Page – The Inner Critic
This was inspired from the book Journal Bliss by Violette. It is filled with creative prompts as well as just some ideas that make me feel like drawing. I loved the wonky way she illustrates and look forward to making more journal pages inspired as well as instructed by this book.
An Electrifying new idea……
These are from the 2010 Decorator Showcase house I am currently on-site at in San Francisco. Check out the link buy some tickets or donate. It’s a great case for education in the bay area. But, back to my photo….
I met a man on the plane last Sunday who’s wife is going to give me wind chime making lessons using old knob & tubes from the house. So stay posted and the future will bring us some beautiful music from these recycled gems…
It’s a Friday
In retrospect, I find that I am more creative when I spend a considerable amount of my time quiet. I have created and posted more in the last two weeks than ever. It like my creative brain has found it’s voice. It’s talking & it won’t shut up. Yeah!!!
